Ramen Box Contents
This month's ramen box features two iconic selections: Shinsen's Tonkotsu Syoyu Ramen from Kanazawa Prefecture and Yukiguni's Miso Ramen from Kanagawa.
SHINSEN Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen

Shinsen is a well-known ramen shop originating from Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is beloved by both locals and tourists alike. Their Rich Chuka Soba features a deep and flavorful broth made by carefully simmering pork bones and chicken, resulting in a creamy and smooth texture. Despite its richness, the broth is not overwhelming, making it a dish you’ll want to savor until the very last drop. The medium-thick straight noodles perfectly complement the soup, offering a satisfying and firm texture that enhances the overall experience.
YUKIGUNI Miso Ramen

The second selection is from Yukiguni, a prestigious miso ramen specialty shop in Kanagawa. The owner trained at the famous Niigata ramen shop "Shokudo Misa", inheriting its highly acclaimed miso ramen flavors before opening Yukiguni in 2015. This ramen features a thick and flavorful miso-based broth, incorporating the Niigata miso ramen style. A blend of miso aged for different periods creates a deep, rich umami, while the addition of sweet shrimp broth adds a perfectly balanced layer of complexity. The subtle aroma of garlic further stimulates the appetite, making each bite irresistible. To complement the broth, thick curly noodles are used, enhancing the dining experience with their rich wheat flavor and chewy texture. Since its opening, Yukiguni has consistently ranked among the top miso ramen shops in Japan, captivating miso ramen lovers with its authentic and well-crafted flavors.
Both of these renowned ramen shops have received numerous awards, earning them not only popularity and recognition but also a reputation for exceptional quality. Most importantly, they showcase the rich, full-bodied flavors that Japanese people love. Now, you can enjoy these exquisite bowls of ramen from the comfort of your home!
